Iran: Our diplomacy continues and Iraq is our big trading partner

confirmed Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif on Sunday that Iraq is now the "big trade partner of his country."
"Iraq is now our big trading partner," Zarif said in a tweet on Twitter.
"Our active diplomacy continues," he said.
The volume of trade between Iraq and Iran is about 12 billion dollars annually, which Tehran aspires to increase to 20 billion, ignoring the US sanctions.
Iran is under an economic blockade because of US sanctions over its nuclear program, which it opposes and refuses to recognize.
