What's dropping 3 zero's mean

I am new to this opportunity and see that some are posting that if I have a 10,000 dinar note does that mean I will only have a 10 dinar note to RV. Can someone explain. Please?

A lop or redomination is when a country removes the zeros from their currency, aka 'lopping' their notes. Turkey and Romania did this several years back. Where they dropped 6 zeros (turkey) and I think 4 (romania). So if Iraq lops, then they would make the large notes equal to the new small notes they will introduce. So a 25k note will have the same purchase power as a 25 note. At the stores you can use either to buy the product. Prices, bank accounts, loans, etc all get adjusted. It is basically an accounting thing to make it easier to do transactions.

Worst case is if iraq lops, you break even. Personally I dont think they will straight lop, i think if they lop, they will raise the rate too. JMHO

"lop" the most dreaded word in all the dinarian realm. Basically it means to cut off. A ,10,000 bill = 10 new notes, they both exist at the same time and have equal value. Anything over the new 100 iqd would have three zeroes lopped off in value and correspond to the lower bills.

This is just one possibility in a world full of possibilities.

You will know when it happens. There will be an announcement and transition time no matter what happens. No one can guarantee that it wont happen and dont believe anyone who says they can unless they are willin to pay you if they are wrong lol

there is no lop you cannot lop when you have a 3.0% inflation you lop when your inflation is 1200% or somthing like that what they are doing is droping the 3 0 bills but for us it doesnot matter because we are cashing in for usd we are not exchanging the 3 0 bills will be destroyed or will be for inter bank in iraq the reason for it is the book keeping over there say a loaf of bread is 1000,00 dinar and soda 2000 dinar and diapers are 5000 dinar now that is 8000,00 dinar now they are going to have taxes acording to a article well you have tax on that so one customer what if you had 200 like that a day at the end of the day your calculator will error out not enough decmal points so you would have to do everthing by hand and you know how much time that would take now think about the car dealer or the furniture store plus you go shopping you need to take your childs red wagon full of money to shop that brings the point of low denoms if you turn all your 3 0 bills for all small ones and go to the store or go to buy a car or a referator or somthing big they have to get the red wagon again or 5 gal buckets to do this so what do you think is next yes they have to r/v so these people dont have to do this and also there saftey if people go out and try to countefit these bill then they will not blink to go up to the people kill them and rob them and take there red wagon full of there life savings sorry this got so long but some of the new people are totaly lost on some of these terms i hope this will help you but dont even think about a lop it is not happening good luck procomp1
