Hi Everyone,

I bring you VERY important news today.

Today’s newsletter is short but very good news and Iraq is now heading in the direction we all want. Just wait and see that the CBI will very shortly come out with a statement to us (the Iraqi citizens) telling us the project to delete the zeros is moving forward again. They are also going to issue statements on the newer smaller category notes (the educational process). So once again I am telling you to pay attention and watch for this news. This is our next indicator this is VERY close at hand.

You might want to start chilling down the champagne again.

So what recently happened then to allow this to move forward?

House voted to ratify three candidates for the Ministries of Interior, Defense and Justice. The candidate for the Ministry of Education is still questionable but it said they will vote again on Thursday. They did not put any Iranian sympathizers in these positions. This in itself is VERY good news.

So, for all practical purposes the cabinet is now fully formed and Mahdi has met his requirement to form the government on time.

What does this mean to us and the project to delete the zeros (thus the reinstatement)?

Okay, so I have to juggle your memory again. Just remember back to 2018. We were on path to get the reinstatement from January thru March. Then in March the CBI came out and told us they wanted to wait (or had to wait) until after the elections. Then then elections were over and they told us they had to wait until the GOI (the government of Iraq) approved and was also in line with the process. However this could not happen since the government was not fully formed. Get it? But then parliament wanted to control it and so had to pass some kind of law in order to do so.

So, was having the government fully formed important? You tell me. Surely seemed like it to me. Folks much of this stuff they are not going to come right out and tell you. You have to read multiple articles then use your common sense and decide.

Then we witnessed the taking over of the GOI side of this decision making by parliament by passing the Financial Management Law. This was all done weeks ago yet they still have not yet implemented the provision within it. Many parliament members are now asking why the project to delete the zeros is still delayed weeks later.

However, having said all this, we know this project to delete the zero shas to be done and is posed to go to the final stages. There is just one factor holding it up and that is the CBI executing it. There are literally now no more excuses or rabbits to pull out of their proverbial hat. The CBI has the permission from the government and the government is fully formed.

UPDATE ON THE ONGOING ELECTION SAGA

{Baghdad: Euphrates News} The House voted on three candidates for the Ministries of Interior, Defense and Justice and rejected the candidate for the Ministry of Education in the Cabinet Cab.

The House voted to give confidence to the success of Hassan Ali al-Shammari as defense minister, Yassin al-Yasiri as interior minister and Farouk Amin al-Shwani as minister of justice.

The House of Representatives also voted to exempt Shaima Al-Hayali as a candidate for the Ministry of Education and voted not to give his trust to the candidate Safana Hussain Al-Hamdani, Minister of Education.
The three ministers were sworn in.

I think this year long saga is finally over. Now let’s get on with the RV!

BAGHDAD ( Reuters ) – Iraq’s parliament ended on Monday one of the most significant political crises after the midterm election last year, completing Prime Minister Adel Abdul Mahdi’s cabinet reshuffle more than eight months after he was given the confidence of the Iraqi government’s sixth president since the US-led invasion of Iraq last year. 2003.
