Lower denom vs higher denom

Hello.
Once again, I am an IQD 'newbie' and have recently purchased some dinar - waiting anxiously, like millions of others. One thing I see mentioned on several different sites, is the advantage of having the lower denoms, as opposed to higher denoms when it's time to 'cash in'.

Can somebody please explain to me, in simple terms, why this is? If a person only has the higher denoms in hand at 'cash in' time - is this a 'bad thing'? Or just a 'not as great' thing?

Hi Tam and Welcome to you, a new Dinarian! The smaller denoms are good to have so you can cash in at a participating bank to get enough to cover you and get your professional team in place, prior to cashing in the larger amts and creating a larger taxable event. Many of us plan to do just that, if money is short. Depending on the amt you have, or will have, you will need a good team to help you along your path of new found wealth.
