Jordan's net public debt rose 4.6% in 7 months

Jordan's net public debt rose by 4.6 percent to 26.614 billion dinars ($ 37.5 billion) in the first seven months of this year compared with 25.4 billion dinars at the end of 2017.
According to statistics published on the website of the Ministry of Finance, the net domestic debt of the Kingdom amounted to 14.97 billion dinars at the end of July, while the external debt to 11.63 billion dinars.
Jordan's net public debt is equivalent to 91 percent of the country's gross domestic product.
