Hope you don't mind if I ask...?
As I noted in the "hello" section, I am new to it all. This whole dinar thing was sent to me by my Dad who got the info from a long-time trusted friend. The long-time friend has been holding on to this for two years and my Dad bought his dinar and zim almost a year ago. In a fairly recent email my Dad, in all of his excitement about the time being "near", shared with me his soon-to-be good fortune. He's a great Dad wanting to help his kids.
By nature I am a "digger" for information. There is much info out there on the dinar as I'm sure you all know. Being part skeptical and part hopeful a purchase was made and I began to read at the link my Dad sent me on a daily basis. I'm sorry to say that some days I felt hopeful. I continued to "dig" and research. I began to recognize groups and names. When I found you guys well, of course it's discouraging and not something one wants to accept in place of hope BUT I had to read. It put a sick feeling in my stomach not so much for myself but for my Dad. Neither of us wiped out our savings but he has so many good things he wants to do with it, it's heartbreaking. He's getting on in age and has always dreamed of seeing Australia. I'm sure there are many, many sad stories that go hand in hand with this dinar situation.
So, if any of you don't mind me asking, is this a similar story to yours? Did anyone at some point believe in this like myself? I don't mean to pry, I'm just wondering. Thanks for taking the time to read.
Edited to add: Sorry, this is probably in poor taste for a new person to ask. I'm sure I'm not the only one on the planet with a story. Thank you for letting post my story.

Hello Snow Cat
Welcome to the dinar world. That sick feeling in your stomach is your gut telling you something is wrong. If I were you I would trust it. That is typically what this so-called investment does. It fills you full of false hope and when you begin to see things don’t add up, you get a sick feeling inside.
I first started to study economics in the last part of 2009 and I stumbled across dinar forums. I began to get excited and I made my first purchase in Jan of 2010. I continued to buy dinar after that. I spent my tax return on dinar, I spent my vacation money on dinar, I started to work overtime to buy dinar.
In February of 2010 I started a blog and started to blog about dinar. (Iraq Currency Watch) In June of 2011 I started to get the same sick feeling you are having now. By January of 2012 I discovered that this whole thing was a scam. I sold my entire dinar supply and revamped my blog site to warn people and to go into detail as to why this whole thing is a scam.
I got my friends and family involved in the dinar and turning around like I did put strain on our relationships. In addition I started to get stories from other people. People who read my blog site would email me their story. People raided their retirement accounts and got massive 401k loans to buy dinar. Marriages were ruined because one spouse believed this thing was going to happen and they were spending all their money on dinar. Businesses took retirement money from their employees and purchased dinar. There are people who sold everything they have to purchase dinar. There are people who invested as a way to pay for their medical bills. This so called-opportunity has ruined a lot of lives.
Almost everyone references the good they are going to do once they finally cash in. The false hope of these goals is just one of the cruel hoaxes that is perpetrated by this scam
While I was blogging and telling people why this dinar was not going to revalue a friend of mine who went by the name of Sam I am started a blog to expose the people who were telling lies in an effort to make money. The system is set up like this. First you have dealers that import and sell the currency. Then you have people who pump the currency and tell lies about it. These guys are also called gurus. These Pumpers have their own websites and they promote the dinar as a sure thing. They also promote the Dong and the Zim.
Many of these pumpers are on the payroll of the dealers and they get kickbacks from them. They provide the illusion of being an independent analysis when in fact they are in on the Con. That is why you will see guru busters on this site. These guys go after the people who tell lies. So that is the basics of what you are involved with.
Nothing is going to happen with the Zim. It is a currency from Zimbabwe and it has been demonetized. That means it is no longer recognized as legal tender in Zimbabwe. This country no longer has its own currency. They use the American dollar. There are other countries like Ecuador and Panama that are in the same boat.
The problem is this country printed too much of its currency and it collapsed and failed. It they wanted to use their own currency again they would print another series. They would not reinstate an old series of currency that their people can no longer trust. Getting their people to trust a new series of currency is difficult as nations like this tend to over print. That is why they use the American dollar in the first place.

Re: Hope you don't mind if I ask...?
Yes we all have those friends now that you told about the RV who are looking at you now with that pitty look, the oooh sooo sad she believed in that, she is delusional....hahaha !!! But thank God that none of my friends bought the dinar, more because it was difficult to get dinar in my country! No foreign currency besides Euros and Dollars! Sooo I was lucky there!
I was contacted by a friend of mine from the US in 2013 about this potential RV. I consider myself an intelligent, well educated woman and my first thought was SCAMMMMMMM!!!!! But then I started thinking.....my friend is also a well educated, smart woman and she would not do something like that if it did not have potential. Plus we are dealing with currency and currency you can always exchange back!! And at the time I got in the rate was $20 something.....sooo I thought.....I invest a couple of $100, that will make me multi millionaire if this RV happens.....Soooooo what did I have to lose....nothing really!! If I had to exchange my dinar back to dollars, I might lose a few bucks exchanging but nothing substantial, so I bought some dinar!
I then got in to the Dinar websites and first got sucked up by TNT Tony.....could not wait 3 times a week to listen to him about how the Dinar would RV and how rich we would be.......! I had just started a new business and because of this hype, I had no desire to work hard to get my business going cause I was going to be rich shortly anyways!!! I worked so I could pay my bills but not much more left after that!! It took me a year to realize (yeah ...smart me, right?) that this Tony was full of xxxx, then I discovered Mnt Gt....which really was a breath of fresh air after this Tony, but then she/he called the RV many times too and nothing happened....and when he/she started bashing other people and being totally nasty, lying about who he is and narcissistic, I stopped listening to him/her too. And now recently I found this website and I learned more about the "bad" intel. Sam I am and Marcus are great!
I also recently found out about Dinar Chronicles........that one blows my mind...
It is sickening that people use the name of the Lord, ghosts, aliens, etc.....to make people believe in the RV and have them buy more.....makes me wanna throw up! But there is always karma!! Let the universe take care of these sorry excuses of human beings!
Sooo luckily I did not lose my house, car etc. but mentally this journey was exhausting and still is but I can control it better now!
I started working on my business again last year and that is hopping and I still have my dinar. Still have that bit of hope and wishing for magic........"Those who do not believe in Magic will never find it". Roald Dahl quote.. So this is my story!

Re: Hope you don't mind if I ask...?
Thank u for the post Snow Cat. It helps me keep going knowing that the things that us "guru hunters" do is not in vain.
I can be rude and crude to the people who believes that this toilet paper can make them rich but it's because I'm so compassionate to the people who are being hurt and I will do anything to expose the dinar scam. That doesn't mean I don't believe in the people of earth breaking the yoke of the PTB and become the people we were destined to be.
I do read Veterans Today,Ben Fulford, and Dave Wilcock who is saying we are in an epic behind the scenes battle with an entity that has used us as their pawns in at least 3000 years and we will win this epic war but it will free us all from the shackles not just some 100,000 fools who bought toilet paper so hopefully your dad can still do some traveling like I will be able to explore the paranormal which I love to read and would love to travel around and research it.
Great post Kenmor and Marcus's website is awesome and I have and still use a lot of articles on it and I'm so happy to see Marcus and Sam back into the game of exposing these conmen.
We all thought it was imploding 6 months ago but like a bad habit it has come back but I will keep on exposing these gurus as who they are and that's a bunch of conmen. I'll spread this post out because it's very powerful when former dinarians write it's a scam like Marcus and Sam since I was lucky to find their sites and Baghdad Invest before I spent any money on this scam but like u Kenmor I kind of skated back in 2012 believing NESARA was around the corner and telling my family we all were going to be millionaires so I was caught in it just not to the point of buying worthless currency
PEACE Kenny

@kenlej I HAVE BEEN APART OF A LOCAL PARANORMAL TEAM IN THE PAST, HOWEVER I FOUND THEIR ANTICS BELOW MY OWN RESEARCH AND SUCH. I NOW EMBARK ON MY OWN INVESTIGATIONS WHEN I HAVE THE TIME. IT'S VERY INTERESTING.

Cool I've done a few investigations myself not haunted though because I've lived in a few haunted houses so no need to lol. I've seen the alien that Mike from "The North Port devil" fame connected with. The lot next door to him was some kind of vortex or doorway which I still think things are happening there. I love reading about them "this is my favorite site https://mail.google.com/mail/ca/u/0/#search/phantoms+monsters/15354d46f5cf935f "chilimama wrote: I will be able to explore the paranormal which I love to read and would love to travel around and research it.

Re: Hope you don't mind if I ask...?
Thank you all for sharing the info and your stories. I truly appreciate it. I'm certain there are many sad stories connected to this dinar situation and that's a shame. I am fortunate that it didn't take me very long and there are no major losses, just a little ashamed of myself for believing and hoping. Also, there is a lot of regret that I won't be able to help my kids as I had hoped.
Thanks again to you all for your responses.
