Monkey bread recipe . Easy
This is something my kids used to love before Sunday school, now they serve it to their kids
Butter bunt pan and pour pecans on the bottom. (About 1/2 cup or so). Quarter 3 to 4 cans biscuits (regular). Cut each biscuit into 4 pieces. Roll them in 1/2 cup sugar & 1 tablespoon of cinnamon mixture. (Or you can shake in a Tupperware container or plastic bag so each piece is covered in sugar mixture). Place pieces into bunt pan. Mix 1 1/2 sticks of butter and 1 1/2 cups of brown sugar. Melt in pan. Pour mixture evenly over biscuit pieces. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. Turn over onto large serving dish.

Re: Monkey bread recipe . Easy
I have never heard of monkey bread until the other day...
Up here in the great white north, we call it cinnamon buns...no pecans or nuts in them. Just the spices and raisins.

I've never made them but my mom made the best. I can still taste them warm out of the oven with lots of butter and hot tea...

Jayzze, you can get gator tail anytime, and plenty of water snakes, they jump in the pan when you fry them- Just don't forget to snap their necks, and take the heads off-They taste like squab-{ Small, pidgeon- like birds}

We do have them here {watersnakes} but we don't see them very often- Now, gators, that's a different story! We do see a pygmy rattler from time to time-

Re: Monkey bread recipe . Easy
We just had 2 sets of Monkeybread in my house over the holidays, but my wife is from northern Iowa, RoyBoy. I enjoyed them, they're good, and quick to make. GG, we also had some homemade cinnamon rolls one day, over the holidays. They were good too.
Of course, I didnt make any of them. I generally cook everything I eat, from the freezer, or a can.

My daughter makes Monkey bread for Christmas so I got to have some again this year. Yes she puts pecans on top, by the way we shelled them from freshly picked ones. Yummy in the tummy.

Re: Monkey bread recipe . Easy
My grand pappy was named Roy, he came from good stock, I'm sure I'm his grandson, so that means I come from good stock lol and if Palmers name is Roy, I bet he came from good stock. Even Roy Rogers came from good stock . Just like Roys horse Trigger was good stock . Where the heck is this conversation going?
