What he's doing is "Affilliate Marketing". He sets up an affilliation agreement with these companies, then they put the ads on his site, and every time someone clicks through, he gets paid...sometimes the pay is as much as a dollar a click. If they buy from the vendor, then he gets a fat commission. There are people who have become millionaires doing this....Just not many.
