We are a DINAR site - NOT a guru home base.  We are a Dinarian Community that offers an OPEN FORUM for discussions of Iraq, the Dinar and much more.
 
Whether you are a newbie to being a dinarian or a seasoned veteran of this ride, we have a place for you.  As members, you can express opinions, vent, discuss and comment on any of the threads.  You can create your own posts. Your posts and opinions are appreciated and respected.  We all have different opinions, so please do not be offended if  someone expresses a counter opinion to yours.  
 
We are all on the same ride, yet we experience it in many different ways. Some of us prefer news, others like to hear what the gurus are saying. Please note though, that the majority of the members here are long term dinarians and are  anti guru. They do express themselves quite vehemently against the guru intel.

Not new to  money fund's and trading, this way is new to me.. I called a bank to day  to ask about the dinar. it seems that what they offer is not what I heard on a call. I was watching the market and it said one thing the bank said another..  So this is new to me.   :spring1:

Welcome to the whacked out world of the dinar. You will find those here who are pro dinar, and those who are not so much. The best thing you can do is educate yourself & make your own decision. What you will not find here is blind adherence to any of the "gurus" out there pumping the dinar with much hype and hoopla.

Hello Eulalie!  Welcome to Dinar Daily!   The first thing you have to come to understand is that Iraqi dinar should not be considered in the same realm of trading that you are used to .  Dinar is not an openly traded currency.  It is a wish and a prayer.  It is a SPECULATIVE WISH and PRAYER. NO ONE knows if the IQD is ever going to revalue and if so, if it is going to be in such a way that it will create any or even a small profit, let alone the mega millions that so many want to claim.
 
If you are listening to any "dinar conference calls" from any so called "dinar gurus", you are setting yourself for long term deception and frustration.  For, they know absolutely nothing.  Some of them read  Iraqi News and Translated news and be claiming to know what is going on.  Others are making things up as they go.  Some of the gurus  have the ulterior motives of being addicted to the attention and self importance, others are deeply involved in receiving an income from the dinar sellers or an income from donation buttons.  There are a few of the dinar gurus, that are actually dealers themselves under other names. 
 
Please understand, I am not saying that the investment of dinar is a scam.  No, I am not saying that.  But, the whole ordeal around it is filled with hype, lies and deception.
 
Keep doing  your own homework.  Stick with actual and factual information.  And understand that there is VERY little out there that is even that.  Even the Iraq news is misleading since MOST of what is written and printed in Iraqi news media are just EDITORIAL PIECES.  They are  writers opinions.  Not actual facts.  You will have two articles written on the same day that are in total contradiction to each other. 
 
Also know that this is not a "NEW INVESTMENT OPPORTUNITY" . There are many that bought in 10 years ago with the same thought that Iraq was going to RV any "minute now". Just know that the same claims have been made for the past 10 almost 11 years. Googling will take you back for YEARS of this Iraqi Dinar information.
 
Watching the market  and the cbi website is the best.  Everything else is just heresay. Wasting time on conference calls and forums that claim to know what is going on is a waste of time, emotions and energy.  Best thing to do?  Put your dinar in a box, put it away for now and go on with life.  And if/when Iraq makes a decision and does something with their currency, you will have your dinar waiting for you , and you haven't wasted years following it.
 
You are welcome to hang with us here.  We do not believe nor follow any gurus. For most of us have been involved for years and do our own reading and realize that the gurus are just bags of hot air, con men or just plain crazy.

Just signed up because a friend has been telling me about all the monetary commotion about an impending Iraqi Dinar RV.  So I thought I would pop in.  We run a local orphanage in Northeast Thailand and have done so for almost 17 years.  My friend gave me some currency (Vietnamese Dong) and said it would be worth a whole lot at some time in the future. He is holding a lot of Iraqi Dinar and is hopeful things will turn for the better. I hope so as we take care of a lot of orphaned, abandoned and indigent children. I am not holding my brief as nearly all if not all of our support comes from prayer.  God provides the donors.  We just  keep on serving, trusting He will do so.  Jehovah Jirah!

Welcome Kingkong_Thailand glad to see you there. A couple of our nieces have been on trips to your part of the world, one specifically to orphanages, with a 4Square group I believe, and one providing community healthcare in rural areas. I know the needs are very great there ... thank you and God bless you for all you do.

A belated "hello" from me. Watching the hysteria about the "RV" has become a source of entertainment and huge fascination for me.

I think it was sparked by stumbling across "Healing Tour for Ascension Group" on Facebook. The leader of that group has problems with voices in her head. Er...sorry, I mean: she is in contact with space aliens hovering around planet Earth. Er...sorry again: she "channels" "ascended masters".

It's a whole world of woo-woo, where pixies and elves are real, discarded props from movies really are dead mermaids, every odd shaped cloud is a "cloaked" alien ship. Etc.

Virtual every single factual assertion made by the group is wrong (Adding lemon and lime to water alkalizes it? No one seems to have even basic scientific knowledge.)

Oh, and the "Ascended Masters" or Mother/Father god or "Sananda" or...well, at least one of the voices in Kathryn May's head has "validated" Tony - so every thing he says can be trusted.

Turkey lurkey, welcome and rest assured that " Ascended Masters" will not be able to get in here, it's alien password protected.

Hello everyone my name is Andrew, im a combat vet been to iraq. I been watching the Dinar for years and there is alot of "buzz" now then there was. Sure they been saying the same things for years but I just feel there is more momentum with this, my one question is ....


What if they the currency Resets meaning they change currency would the dinars I have be rendered useless or will there be a time frame to secure the new currency, would this same porcess cause a possible unrest among the IQD holders in country.

As I said ive been holding Dinar since my time in OIFIII 2004-2005 the exchange was 536$ to 1 million dinar ... now its at 900+ to 1 million dinar there is progress over the years but is the goal in the RV ?? what is the exchange projected to be 1 to 1 ?? or is there hope that the IQD 2.1% increase on RV to the USD can that be answered or is just speculation at this point and will not know till it does RV
