Since your original purchase of dinar, where are you now?
POLL - Since your original purchase of dinar, where are you now?
I love Polls ! A bunch of us were talking about the dinar that we hold. There were several who said that they have been selling theirs off to recoup some finances but hope to hold on to some long enough for the RV. A few said that they have been purchasing on and off when they can. Where do you stand? This is an anonymous poll. All may participate, Members and Guests. No one knows how you vote. Feel free to comment if you want.

Dinarling... I think the following suits your needs....
"I have purchased more since my original purchase" .... And I just might do a "fly" by some day... you never know. Keep the moonshine flowing just in case.

Re: POLL - Since your original purchase of dinar, where are you now?
No I havent purchased since 2010.had a chunk of cash then ,didnt think to much about it.What got me in was a coworker said that some guy she new from her church was talking dinar and was coming over in the next 20 minutes to deliver some to her so I jumped on after talking to him. First purchase 3 25,000 notes and then it just kept going all the way down to getting the 50's.Like a deck of cards

Re: POLL - Since your original purchase of dinar, where are you now?
I bought more as my original purchase was small and I am not sorry I bought it. When it was purchased it was done with discretionary funds, since that time finances have gone in the wrong direction and yes, I could use that money now, but it wouldn't put a dent in what I need to recover. So I will just hold it and hope the Iraqi's can finally get it together and RV. Of course, I want the 11+ that tony says it is now.

I bought in the summer of 2010 myself, and if I had disposable income - Call me crazy....I would buy some more. But I do think that at some point something has to happen. Even if I don't get to enjoy the benefits, then maybe my kids and their future children will.

I agree with you Ponee .... when I have some dinero to spare I will invest some more ... or if the RV beaks first I will look for another promising currency.

Re: POLL - Since your original purchase of dinar, where are you now?
At the urging of a good friend I bought a little in the summer of 2010. Had a few extra bucks laying around and picked up some more in the spring of 2011. I didn't jump in the pool, just stuck my toes in the water. I have no plans to buy more.

I hold over what the so called average dinarian holds, haven't bought since shortly after i got in 2010 but now my finances have changed and I have seriously been considering buying more. I agree with Ponee that this thing will come to fruition, just when?

Re: POLL - Since your original purchase of dinar, where are you now?
Made a small purchase a couple years ago and that's it for me. Too many variables and con men/women involved. I do think Iraq does have potential for growth....dependent on the stability of the country. Seems to me investing in companies doing business in Iraq would be a safer way to go.

I agree with you Ssmith - There is great wealth to be had in the growth of Iraq and it isn't with the dinar.

Well dang it Ponee, that's the category I needed yesterday, and now that I've voted I can't vote again. Oh well, there are other members of my clan who can cast their vote based on reality.....if they know what reality is, of course.....

Re: POLL - Since your original purchase of dinar, where are you now?
Well I heard about this about 6 years ago, wanted to buy, never did until 2010, and then bought 25,000, figured oh well good deal if it came out at even 50 cents. The way it sounded it should happen anytime. Every week I would buy a little more, then I decided I wouldn't buy anymore, but off and on I would buy a little more, then some VND. It has been since the spring, I said no more! Lately I have been tempted to buy a little more, but not sure if I want to give in or not????
I just will be happy with what I have if it would just RV......

I have started to sell mine back. Years of false guru hopium and the current mess in iraq. I see no good return happening in the near future . Maybe not even the far away future.

Re: POLL - Since your original purchase of dinar, where are you now?
I bought my first four years ago to basically stop my friend from bugging me to buy. Then I decided to study the dinar and bought some more continue to buy here and there and three weeks ago, I bought some to add to my collection I believe that it will revalue otherwise I will not put my money in it.
I look back and see it clearly now that there is no way Iraq could have rv'd prior to June 2014. Now the three musketeers are in the office, we have better chance to rv. I am hoping the wait is not going to be long anymore. Iraq can always surprise us and it can pull the string whenever they want to and whoala.. the dove comes out of the hat

My Dinar history is very much like everyone else's. Someone mentioned "the average dinar held" I wonder how much is the average amount of Dinar held....

Re: POLL - Since your original purchase of dinar, where are you now?
Ahhh the year 2006, I have stopped buying since 2010 or 2011, I do not regret it and never will. It may come early this year or the end of their 4-5 year plan. When Iraq has the leadership they just got in late last year, things will start looking up for this investment. Give it time people, and if you can't stand the heat, sell and walk away, and never look back ;-)

I do not regret it either. I bought within my means at the time. When circumstances changed and things got tough, exchanged it back. No regrets. But, I don't think I will buy anymore.

Re: POLL - Since your original purchase of dinar, where are you now?
Bought the 1st time long ago and last time was 2010. Like i have stated before, going to leave it alone and if it does not RV before ID [i die] what the heck, somebody will open the envelopes and then they can do as they may. But, like the discussion above, I do not mind if family profits someday from it. No Regrets. But,will not buy anymore. Worry will kill you. So,if you put it aside and figure it will not happen in your life time it will not harm you. If you never go to a site again [not that I plan on leaving here] it will be on the news that all of us crazy people who purchased it where wiser than most would admit.

This POLL is 2 years old.... and I WANT TO CHANGE MY ANSWER !!!
I WOULD NOT NOT NOT buy ANY MORE DINAR!
It feels like I just posted this poll only a few weeks ago. I can't believe that it has been almost 2 years since it was put up.

Re: POLL - Since your original purchase of dinar, where are you now?
I am so glad i sold most of mine. I have been watching the buy rate from the brokers. in 6 weeks it has gone from $925 per million dinar to $800. The war in Iraq has progressed, and the bozo gurus keep saying any day. There may never be any day. It could definitely go the route of the dong.

Re: POLL - Since your original purchase of dinar, where are you now?
I do not blame anybody for selling off and getting as much back as possible. But, what i have can sit and wait for my family to open when I pass(figuring, really by now and seeing what we have seen, that chances are it will NEVER happen). Just wish I could see that WTF look on their faces when they do open it and what they do with it. I mean they could sell it for a little money or put it in there safe and forget about it as I have tried to do. Who knows, maybe that "long term" investment may do something one day. But,I do not see it happening in my lifetime. Almost all of us have spent way to much time analyzing this and hoping for it to happen. I do not come by often enough, but do miss the people I consider to be friends on this site. Thanks, Billyg
