It's been up here for going on 6 days now and everytime I check in, I look at the scroll and see the "Okie from Recaps" header..

First thing I do is puke in my mouth then I close the site.........

Kevind 53, I think the oatmeal adversion came from when I was a child when my grandmother would fix herself a bowl of oatmeal and she would be eating that same bowl of oatmeal all day!!! I vowed never to eat the stuff and to this day I have never let myself taste it, weird, but I cannot do it !!! I will try almost anything else. LOL.

I been fishing, scrounging, pallet building and just plain hooked up - sometimes literally!! I drop around late in your evening and early in my morning - sometimes just to see what is here - sometimes to post.
Retirement means you have to keep busy - so I scrounge wood for making pallets (i.e.: lumber yard runs, contractor clean ups, etc.) that I sell to a local moving company; buy defaulted storage units and hold yard sales/craigslist etc; go fishing when the ocean in calm enough; and generally stay busy around the home place. And finally "play" with my bobcat (skidloader) and boats. Summer is busy time around here.
I replaced the back roof on my house (28 x 36 roof) to include taking it back down to the rafters and then sheeting it and applying new metal roofing. Little things like that have to be done in the summer so that's where I've been (sometimes up on the roof even - yes, I was looking for a raise!

Seb- It is good, try it- It might sound nasty, but you can detect a semi- sweet taste of the oat meal that way, and I never liked it when it was cooked, anyway, and the salt and pepper keeps the dust of the oat meal to a minimum, along with the moo juice- Okie from Recaps - Page 3 2032510400
