Ditto what AK said terbo.

Interesting the way this thread is going. I love it. Thank you for sharing terbo and dinarling. We all have so very much in common.

And talking about this stuff is way more important than anything that Okie might have to say imho.

My dad did what your mom did terbo. I worked very hard to forgive him for breaking my heart. I still have residual feelings from the abandonment but now that I see things in a different way I have been able to get past the hurt. I must have signed up for it so I could learn.

Purpleskyz- I think some of us may have 'signed up', in a word,to ready us for the let downs of things to come in later life, and it helps us to grow in ways others cannot see, or want to deal with- Like I always said, 'What ever doesn't kill us, makes us stronger- If anyone can deal with some one's passing in their lifetime, imagine what we could really do in a time of need,personally, or psycologically- I know it makes me wonder-We just need to believe in ourselves- That's what makes us all tougher than a bag of hammers! Smile

I am a tough old bird and I can honestly say it was because of these "challenges" that were given to me in my early years.
