“Abtan said in a statement to the Euphrates News Agency {} that "the central bank steps to remove the zeros of the Iraqi dinar, a bold and would raise the exchange value of the dinar against the U.S. dollar."
The above statement in my opinion means that the nominal value is 1 Iraqi Dinar = 0.0008592 US Dollars as of 2/2/2012. If you remove the 3 zeros you have .8592 or about 86 cents to the USD. The USD is currently 78.98 at http://www.kitco.com/market/.
The above two figures leaves a 6.94 cent difference for the CBI to make a profit buying the USD out of the market place or Iraq.
“Abtan said, that "the steps the bank will be the largest impact on the Iraqi economy and the lives of citizens in the event of an economic plan put in one of its components are the central bank.”
The next statement above is used to get the citizens of Iraq RV takes place, as I predicted these articles would come out in the near future in AJ’s Intel of 01-31-12.

The above statement from this article has already been started with the recent two CBI auctions being the lowest I have seen yet, with about 8 million Iraq Dinars sold to 7 banks. I believe that the lower denominations are being sold to the banks, but have not been released to the public yet, that will come in a short time.
“He added that officials in the Iraqi Central Bank confirmed that they now are developing a new mechanism to participate in bids to buy the dollar, and how they will exchange the dollar and hard currency, and we will follow up this subject first, first in order to preserve the cash reserves of Iraq.”
In my opinion they plan to buy the USD out with the lower denominations and that is the mechanism, which make total sense.
“The al-Alwani, that the smuggling of currency and a negative impact on the Iraqi economy is bad, and will affect the reserve currency, and the exchange rate of the dinar against the dollar, also has a serious political dimensions.”
The above statement and underlining is meant to warn that if Iraq does not stop the smuggling of the US dollar to Iran it could have a serious impact on Iraq and chapter VII sanctions.
“He continued, so they are trying to fill the deficit, if there was damage to Iraq, and this cannot accept it, and we will stand against all who try to empty Iraq of foreign currency, and will not compromise the country's wealth for the interests of others.
The above statement means that Iraq must act quickly and if they do not, Iraq’s resources could be drained before the CBI can buy back all the US dollars in Iraq.
In my opinion the above two articles are meant for several reasons, one to convince the people of Iraq to use their own currency once the RV occurs, to warn those who are smuggling US dollars into Iran and to rain in the wealth of Iraq before those US dollars leave the country.

The Central Bank of Iraq issues CBI bills and has adopted a mechanism that will be applied periodically. The results will be announced at 11 am after the closing time of the auction which is at 10 am.
Announcement Number (C51) 31-JAN-2012
The auction No. C51 for Central Bank of Iraq bills based on a uniform price auction for IQD 150'000'000'000 par value was concluded on the 31-1-2012.

Inspired by Splovengates "Be ready between sunday and monday night, or maybe tuesday or wednesday, could also be thursday but definitely by friday.... probably next week, monday or late tuesday night, wednesday morning to hear the rv and should be cashing in on the following tuesday the 1st part of january or february. Sooner more than later. But no later than the beginning of 2013. Certainly not before then. Until then, let's enjoy the ride!

Once the CBI has all the interior banks loaded with lower denominations, it will not be long. So far 7 banks have purchased, not enough I am afraid. But not long. It all takes time. AJ
